• West Sussex-based manufacturer Fromant & Son (Trailers) has gone into receivership after selling its Arundel premises and some plant and machinery to an undisclosed buyer.

Receiver, Worthing-based Levy Gee & Partners, says Fromant has exchanged contracts and is due to complete by 31 December. The buyer, which is rumoured to be a haulier, will not take over Fromant's debt.
