EXEMPT RECORD BOOK REMINDER • The Drivers Hours (Goods Vehicles) (Keeping of Records) Regulations 1987 states that all drivers of vehicles over 3.5tonnes-GVW which are exempt from tachograph legislation must use the new simplified record books from 2 November onwards. There will be no overlap period for the current EC Individual Control books.
