GROUPAGE TO LYON • With TIR traffic to the south of France on the increase, UK fright forwarder Haniel Transport of Brentwood (0277 216363) has clinched a deal with one of the largest agents in Lyon to handle its traffic to the area. Haniel now operates a twiceweekly driver-accompanied service to and from Lyon, picking-up and arranging groupage from its head office at Brentwood and depots at Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester.
Haniel will work closely with SRI Societe (Rhodanienne de Transport) in Lyon on the new services. SRI operates its own transport fleet to make deliveries throughout the region.
Haniel's latest groupage operation joins its three-timesweekly run to Paris.
