Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• As predicted by Commercial Motor in September, ERF is to offer Hendrickson Norde four-bag air suspension on its 4 x 2 tractive units because "not having air suspension could mean we could lose sales".

SAF two-bag kits have been fitted to some ERF tractors, but ERF believes that the fourbag system is "more efficient, popular and cost effective".

It has already added Hend• rickson Norde rubber smspension to its 6x4 and 8x4 rigids as part of a range of model changes announced earlier this year, and exhibited a tractor with the four-bag system at the NEC Show. Now it confirms that it will add the air suspension equipment as a factory option by next spring.
