• Bill Atkinson, who until recently was research projects manager at the Motor Insurance Repair Centre at Thatcham, has been appointed by the vehicle refinish division of Berger Industrial Coatings as consultant to its body appraisal service scheme. Atkinson had worked at the research centre since its foundation in 1969.
