• Tom Phillips has been made group financial controller of Tiphook, Bromley, Kent, the international trailer and container rental group.
Phillips was previously financial director of Central Trailer Rental, a member of the Tiphook group.
• Alex Mattocks has joined Tiphook Container Rental as technical manager, from Adamson Containers of Stockport, Cheshire, where he was marketing manager for the Middle East. He will be based at Tiphook's offices in Bromley, Kent, and will be responsible for inspecting the group's new container products.
Elsewhere in Tiphook Container Rental, Sheila O'Neill, Toni El Hagag, Della Collinson and Hazel Jones have all been appointed to the newly-created positions of maintenance and repair supervisors.
The jobs have been created as a result of Tiphook's worldwide fleet expansion.
