• George Hazle has been promoted to managing director of BRS Midlands, from operations director. He will he based at the company's head office in Derby and succeeds Robbie Burns who has moved on to be group managing director (designate) of the NFC Distribution Group.
Hazle has been with the BRS group for 23 years, and has worked in BRS Parcels, Scottish Road Services and Eastern BRS.
As the head of BRS Midlands, Hazie will run a company with 1,500 employees, a turnover of £65 million, a network of 26 branches and a vehicle fleet of 1,300 units.
