• TUX tyres require particu lar care when being mounted Rough handling or stretchinj can seriously damage th( specially stiffened tyre bead. However, the latest Monty 1 automatic tyre changer has demount head designed tc prevent undue distortion of this bead. The demount head alsc protects the wheel rim as ii rotates on the automatic table.
The Monty 32 is equippec with a four-jaw centring tabk which works by foot controls, leaving the operator's hands free to manipulate the tyre. Its side-mounted bead breaker is also foot operated and is powered pneumatically.
