Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• When the Speedline range from Sykes-Pickavant was launched in the late Seventies, it consisted of just a few products. By the time of the 1986 Motor Show the new Speedline range, presented at a public exhibition for the first time, boasted over 700 items.

Speedline tools are aimed at professionals and the packaging is designed for retail and cash and carry distribution. Five new product groups are: torque wrenches, the Safety range, files and twist drills, power tools accessories and soldering irons.

The new Safety range offers spectacles and goggles, safety shields, a Duramask, a respirator for non-toxic paint, gas welding goggles, work gloves, protective masks, a headlight and ear muffs.

Sykes-Pickavant produces a 34-page full-colour brochure for the trade.
