Tyre-Tech International Ltd Maypole House Maypole Street Wombourne near Wolverhampton South Staffordshire WV5 9JB • Brockhouse Harvey Frost manufactures a wide range of garage equipment under the HE EPCO trade name, including trolley jacks, jacking beams, transmission jacks, floor cranes, wheel trollies, tyre changers and recovery items.

Recent new products include the J830 I.5-tonne capacity jacking beam with twotonne hydraulic components of pump and ram. This meets with the new MoT test requirements and uses a scissoraction lift operated by a single ram activated by a double-acting pump.

The HF EPCO "vertilift" transmission jack V2000 is especially suited to medium and heavy-weight trucks as well as light commericals and cars. It has a two-stage hydraulic ram, offering both a low minimum height as well as a high extended height, which makes it useful for removing and re-fitting the gearbox when a vehicle is on a lift or over a pit.

The new HE EPCO threequarter-tonne crane TC750 can be dismantled into four sections and handled by one person. It fits neatly in a van.

All items manufactured by Brockhouse Harvey Frost are British-made, fully tested and have a comprehensive back-up of after sales and servicing.

The Brockhouse Harvey Frost portable jack is designed for raising forklift trucks and associated machinery. It is believed to be the only British fork truck jack available; the FLJ 4000 is available under the HE Epco trade name. Its SWL capacity is four tonnes. The lifting point has an adaptor to enable trucks with a curved side panel to be jacked safely, or the adaptor can be removed to locate securely when a square sided truck is lifted.

The HE Epco 10-tonne hydraulic press launched earlier this year, is designed to provide versatility in a wide variety of operations in garage and general maintenance work. It is constructed of high-duty steel sections, with a ram providing pressure of 10 tonnes and 1 5 2mm (6in) stroke.

The press incorporates a double-acting pump and pressure gauge. Minimum clearance between the ram base and table in the top position is 45mrn (11/2in) with a total of 13 positions at 75rnm (3in) intervals, so that a comprehensive range of applica bons can be met with the purchase of the one piece of equipment.

Harvey Frost is supplying the press complete with a full range of adaptors including four vee blocks; one ram end adaptor; and seven bushing mandrels.

The press weighs 265lb, has base dimensions of 762mrn x 610mm (30in x 24in) and a frame height of 1,400mm (55in).

Brockhouse Harvey Frost and NIKE Hydraulics of Sweden recently announced a joint marketing agreement.

As UK distributor of NIKE automotive products, Harvey Frost is now marketing a range of NIKE equipment under the HE Epco brand name, including workshop quality bottle and side lifting jacks in addition to trolley and air jacks.
