Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Rotocold has added the R8 model to its range of multivane rotary compressors for transport and static refrigeration applications. With its carbon-fibre reinforced blades and computer designed and built stator, it is 20kg lighter and claimed to be more efficient than piston compressors.

The new R8 joins the R4 and R6 using a 12 or 24V magnetic clutch for belt or shaft drive and is suited for speeds up to 4,000rpm. R3, 5 and 7 models are restricted to 1,50Orpm.

Most Rotocold compressors are available with reversible drive rotation and the R7 and R8 are expected to join them next month.
