A diesel-powered welding unit, in corporating a Deutz-Mag single cylinder 14hp engine has been introduced by Max Arc, The equipment provides a welding current of 275 amps and is available in ac or de models, with or without 4kW auxiliary output. Called the Portelet Type DX, the unit is mounted on two tyred wheels. The unit weighs 210kg(463Ibs).
