A new dual-purpose Gemini pump provides dual services from one pto. Drum Engineering is now offering its Gemini 130 compressor! vacuum pump fitted with a trunk-mounted hydraulic pump. This enables one pto to be used to drive the compressor, whiCh in turn drives the hydraulic pump.
The unit, which can be fitted to new or existing vehicles, has a considerable advantage over systems which use separate pumps and two pto's for the loading and tipping of cesspool and gully emptying and general waste recovery tankers.
The compact unit is designed for ease of installation and may be fitted with an optional step-up gearbox or Drum hydraulic drive system, which increases its versatility.
