THE FOUR London Boroughs and the GLC are jointly considering a report of the northeast London project which suggests solutions to the transport and environmental problems in the area. This region, which includes the boroughs of Hackney and Islington, has severe road problems and inadequate public transport.
The study examines four options involving different main road networks with each relying on a different degree of traffic restraint.
