A NEW transport centre was opened last week at Wednesbury, Staffordshire, by Wilkins and Mitchell Ltd, the Midlands based engineering group.
This new garage is part of a £500,000 expansion and redevelopment plan to improve the company's production and servicing facilities. It features a "rolling road" for checking vehicle braking efficiency and an ultrasonic vehicle wash, capable of cleaning a 12.2m (4Oft)-long trailer unit and prime mover in under four minutes.
