HAULIERS should put their rates up now and not wait for weeks of negotiation with customers. This was said last night by Mn. M. Silbermann, a vice-chairman of the Road Haulage Association. Speaking at the RH A's West Midland area dinner in Solihull, he warned of the dangers on entering into lengthy negotiations which could end in compromise.
