ARGER sizes of Khamsin oil-burning space heaters have been developed by Park Engineering. There are three new odds, the 125, 200 and 300, producing 125,000, 200,000 and )0,000 B.T.U. respectively.

The heaters will run on paraffin, fuel oil, gas/oil or derv, and feature is the complete freedom from unburnt fuel in the hot r flow produced and the low carbon monoxide content--only 001 per cent—which makes the heaters completely safe when ted in buildings.

The first of the new heaters to be produced is the Model 125, hich gives an air flow of 500 Cu. ft. per minute from a 0.160 h.p. ectric fan. The heater is said to run for about 15 hours on a nkful (11-75 gal.) of fuel, making running cost on paraffin out Is. 3d. per hour. bridge Trailers is designed to transport most sizes of tssenger car. Outside dimensions of the ramp platforms are ft. 6 in. (the distance between the ramps is 2 ft. 8 in.) and the atforms are 13 ft. long. Carrying capacity is 1-75 tons.

The trailer can be supplied with a central metal-covered plattrm and loading ramp so that a damaged car supported by a ollev jack can be winched on to the trailer. A removable inch is supplied.

Price: El 2s. 6d. 'THERE will be many uses for a new material, DEK Epoxy, I introduced by Duche and Knight Ltd. This is an Epoxy polyamide material that can be used to join almost any coinbinat:on of materials and can seal and fill cracks, breaks and holes in virtually anything. When set it can be drilled, tapped, sanded and machined and is unaffected by acids, alkalies, chemicals, oil and grease, water, heat and cold.

The material is supplied in two parts, which are mixed in equal proportions prior to use. Although no preparation apart from the removal of grease, water, rust and scale is required, DEK Epoxy remains workable for four hours at normal temperatures. After eight hours it has reached working hardness and is fully set within 24 hours.

National distribution has been arranged through selected stockists throughout the U.K. and 2 lb., 7 lb., 28 lb. and 100-cwt. packs are available.

No Connections I-1 A SMALL test instrument recently added to the Crypton range indicates the value of current passing in a wire without breaking into the vehicle wiring circuit. Called the Clammeter, the instrument makes use of the magnetic field which always surrounds a wire carrying current and is merely clamped on to the wire to be tested.

Two models are made, the 13.20 for testing charging systems and 13.21 for starting systems. Model B.20 reads up to 40 A whilst Model 13.21 has a 500A scale.
