AC:ONSORTIUM has been formed by British, Dutch and German shipping companies with a view to establishing new roll-on/roll-off commercial vehicle ferry services to link the East or South Coast of England with Holland, Belgium and West Germany.
The first of the new roll-on/roll-off ferries will run between a port on the Humber and Holland, almost certainly Amsterdam or Rotterdam. The General Steam Navigation Co. is understood to be one of the companies in the consortium.
