DURING the next few years, the Traders' Road Transport Association would have to look far beyond immediate problems, especially with the advent of European free trade, Mr. S. V. P. Cornwell, president of Bristol Chamber of Commerce and Shipping, said last week. He was speaking at the annual dinner of
the Western Division at Bristol. " • He pointed out that if members did not always feel that they were securing an immediate return for their subscriptions, they should consider the difficulties that they would have to face if they had not a strong association to represent them.
Col. Arthur Jerrett, past president of the Association, expressed great pleasure that the T.R.T.A. had rejoined the International Road Transport Union.
