The health committee of the East Ham Corporation recommends the purchase of a Morris-Commercial motor ambulance.
The housing committee of the Wakefield Corporation has approved of bus services being arranged on the housing estates. • Brighton Watch Committee has authorized the purchase of a turbine motor fire-engine at an estimated cost of 11,600.
The tramways committee of the Leeds Corporation is considering the augmentation of bus services on the Sh:divell and Stanks routes.
East Ham Corporation has asked the chief sauitary inspector to obtain tenders for the supply of new batteries for the electric dust vans.
Leeds Watch Committee has accepted the offer of Leyland Motors, Ltd., to inspect periodically the Leyland motor fire-engine and turntable escape for £10 pe.r annum.

Bombay Corporation has accepted the tender of Leyland Motors, Ltd., for the supply of two 3-ton chassis at Es. 12,250 each.
Middlesex County Council recommends acceptance of the tender of Messrs. Barford and Perkins for the supply of two 21-ton motor rollers at £268 each.
Stoke-on-Trent Corporation has accepted the tender of Knutsford Motors. Ltd., of Penton, for the supply of a 2ton Vulcan chassis at £440 10s., and the tender of Messrs. Young and Son, of Longton, for a body at 144 10s.
Stoke-on-Trent Corporation has. accepted the tender of Electricars, Ltd., at £450, for the supply of a 30-cwt. electric vehicle.
Stoke-on-Trent Corporation is to make provision in the next estimates for the purchase of another motor lorry for the cleansing committee.
The Darlington Corporation is to augment its trolley-bus fleet by the purchase of two more vehicles. The present fleet comprises 20 Straker-Clough 32-seater machines.
