Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

As a result of the economy they are able to effect in comparison with transport by UM there is a growing deniand for motor tractors in the Antilla district of Cuba, which is devoted to the production of sugar. The sugar mills have been modernised, but the principal and most expensive part of sugar production—the cultivation and transportation of the crop—has, until recently, been accomplished largely by antiquated methods.

The small tractor of from 10 b.p. to 25 h.p. is the most popular sige, although some heavier types are being employed. Practically all the machines are of the chain-track type, or equipped with tracklaying attachments, as they are found to be more efficient in the muddy fields than wheeled machines. Most of the trackers use petrol as fuel, although most "centrals" are reported to be experimenting with alcohol, as they are in a position to produce their own fuel of this class.

A, recent canvass showed that there are about 65 tractors in use in the Antilla district, all of American make.

At a meeting of the council of the Institute of Motor Trade, Mr. Walter Doyle was unanimously elected president. Mr. Boyle is well known to those engaged in the motor industry, particularly on the retail side. He is the author of a number of books which are invaluable to motor traders.

Accessibility on the Albion Oyertype.

On page 415 of our issue dated November 15th we referred to the Albion Viking bus. The term Viking should, however, only be applied to the makers' 20-seater and 26-seater passenger all-weather coaches.

We would like to point out here that the accessibility to the engine of the Albion overtype 4-tonner is not merely due to the feet that the cab can be removed very easily. The engine itself is extremely accessible, and all ordinary adjustments can be made without removing the cab; which operation is only necessary when the engine has to be removed from the frame for a complete overhaul.,
