• Police are seeking witnesses after a man was killed in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle as he walked along the MB.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene on the southbound carriageway, just before junction 10 for Walsall, after the accident last Thursday (22 May).
The Central Motorway Police Group is appealing for anyone who saw the man walking on the motorway or getting onto it from a roadbridge which goes over the motorway to come forward.
"We're appealing for anyone who saw the incident or anything unusual to get in touch with us," says a spokesman.
