NI A CM writer has become the latest victim of mindless yobs hurling objects from bridges at passing trucks.
Cain Barnett was test driving a 44-tonne ERE on the M9 near Stirling on 14 May when he spotted four youths in school uniform hurling rocks from a bridge directly ahead. The missiles hit a truck in front of Barnett's. The youths then turned their attention to the ERF.
"I just kept going and shut my eyes," says the Massociato editor. 'They took a chunk out of the paint just below the windscreen."
Barnett and his passenger, engineer John Griffiths, were unhurt and the incident was later reported to the police.
