COACH OPERATORS allowing football hooligans on their coaches could have their operator's licence suspended or revoked, said Junior Transport Minister Reginald Eyre. The warning was issued in the run up to the European Cup Final in Rotterdam.
Traffic Commissioners already have powers to deal with operators allowing bad behaviour on their vehicles "not only within but throughout the world". He also hinted that the Government could increase Commissioners' powers if it proved necessary to deal with hooliganism.
