Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ICENCES for three-day tours to Grantown from Dundee, Perth, Crieff and Pitlochry, mainly for the benefit of skiers, were sought by W. Alexander & Sons (Northern) Ltd. and (Midland) Ltd. at a sitting of the Scottish Traffic Commissioners in Dundee last week.

The proposed tours are aimed at linking up with the touring centre at Glenmore, but it was stated they would also be run as a tourist attraction in the summer.

Mr. Harry Stephen, of Alexander (Northern), Aberdeen, said that Dundee was one of the first places to become really interested in ski-ing and Glenmorc had become much more attractive.

The application was opposed by British Railways, for whom it was contended that they had provided services throughout the years from the places concerned, not only for ski-ing traffic. I he case was adjourned for further evidence.
