In his annual report for the past mtfuicipal year, Mr. I. Bulfin, the tramways manager of the Bournemouth Corporation, states, in regard to motorbus services, that the total operating expenses amounted to £12,103, and the total receipts to £9,551, showing a , deficit of £2,552. To this must be added interest and sinking fund on the new buses, amounting to £568, making a total amount of £3,120. This deficit B30 has to be made good out of the tramways revenue.

The gross surplus on the " tram-G, cars" and runabounts amounted to £2,767, from which has to be deducted £614, being the amount to be contributed to the beach, cliffs, and foreshore committee at the rate of 2d. per mile-run on the Undereliff Drive.
