Haulage Association has challenged the Government to match a pledge of £1,000 for Commercial Motor's Wheel Loss Campaign. The RHA will
make a donation on a pound-for-pound basis depending on what the Government decides to give to contribute.
RHA director-general Bryan Colley told Commercial Motor the cash has been pledged to the fund because "we want to see a resolution to this problem, both for road safety and for the image of the road haulage industry".
To support the Wheel Loss Campaign, make your cheques payable to Commercial Motor Wheels Fund, and send them to Commercial Motor, Room 403, Quadrant House, The Quadrant, Sutton, Surrey SM2 5AS.
