THE NEW Railfreight finance and resources manager is Ian Brown. He takes over from Derek Finch who is retiring.
Brown joined British Rail in 1967 and held managerial positions before being appointed InterCity manager for London Midland Region in 1983. A year later he joined BR's headquarters policy unit and took a special interest in Railfreight and Freightliners.
