• Renault VI continues to beef up its service and parts dealer network, with new sites in England and Scotland.

Renault Trucks Bristol has set up a satellite outlet in Exeter which offers van and used truck sales as well as aftersales care.

Renault Trucks Exeter will initially be open between 08:00-18:00hrs on weekdays, and up to 12:00hrs on Saturdays. "We expect the workshop hours to increase as demand grows," says Mike Jakeways, director and general manager at Bristol.

Hutch Mechanical is Renault's new service outlet in Dundee. It's working with Balllie Brothers of Elgin to improve coverage in the Tayside area.

"We've recently moved into new premises, and business is growing well," says George Mach, who

founded the company 25 years ago. The workshops are open from 08:00-18:00hrs during the week, and until 13:00hrs on Saturdays.

Existing Renault dealers are extending their opening hours. Renault Trucks Midlands (RIM) now has its workshops open from 06:00hrs Monday to 16:30hrs Saturday.

"The demand for out-ofhours servicing is growing rapidly," explains director and general manager Ron Ball. "So far we've had no real demand for Sunday working, but when the question arises, we will happily discuss it"

RTM is currently fitting clutches for free as part of Renault's all-makes parts programme. "We're doing well with ht, and seeing trucks that would not otherwise come to us," says aftermarket manager Tim Jordan.
