Last year The Hawk was delighted to attend the first annual road run organised by Commercial Transport in Preservation. The majestic vehicle you see here is just one of many that took to the open road that day.

If you are feeling miffed because you missed out, fear not, for the club has announced its second annual Big Run on Sunday 3 September. Vehicles will set off at 8:00 from Kings Park on the outskirts of Bournemouth to make the journey to RAF Colerne near Bath. if you are looking for a good vantage point to cheer the participants on, The Hawk recommends Bannerdown Hill, on the approach to Colerne, which offers magnificent views of the vehicles on the run.

If you are of a mind to take part, the closing date for the Inclusion in the official souvenir programme is 30 June. However, entries can be taken right up to the morning of the event.
