Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Body repair methods have hardly changed over the years but PowerTEC's Star Miracle panel puller is adding a degree of sophistication, while reducing repair times considerably.

The system, which originated in Japan, involves welding a series of metal loops in an arranged series along a dented area, sliding rods through the loops and then pulling on the rods via special puller frames to draw the damaged panel back into shape.

The repair kit comprises a low-heat electric welder to attach the loops, slide hammers and a selection of pulling frames designed to retract damaged panels on any part of a vehicle or truck cab.

Basic kits start at between £6,000 and £7,000 but options like sanders, planishing hammers and wheeled storage cabinets add to the overall cost.
