BRAKE parts manufacturer Lucas Girling has been in dispute with South Wales operator Karyon (trading as Durrant Transport Services) over parking.
When Karyon sought to renew its standard licence for seven vehicles and four trailers, and for another five vehicles and four trailers to be acquired, Lucas opposed it.
Lucas Girling has premises adjacent to Karyon's operating centre in Pontyfelin Road, Pontypool.
These were being obstructed by parked vehicles.
The two parties were able to resolve their differences before the case came to public inquiry and South Wales Licensing Authority Ronald Jackson has renewed the licence without restriction.
