Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TACHOGRAPH calibration fees, last increased in May last year, go up by over seven per cent next week.

With effect from July 1, the maximum calibration fee for calibration at any of the 485 Department of Transport-approved centres rises by 7.2 per cent from .E25 to £26.80 plus vat.

The maximum fee for twoyearly tachograph inspections rises by 7.5 per cent from £10.70 to £11.50 plus vat.

This increase, which is slightly above the current rate of inflation, has been implemented following consultation with the transport industry and motor trade.

• From July 1, the fees for heavy goods driving licences will increase.

The fee for the heavy goods full licence will increase from £5.50 to £7,50. The fees for provisional and for duplicate licences are also set to rise from £2.50 to £3 and for exchange licences from £1.25 to £1.50.

This makes the annual cost for a heavy goods driver £2.50.
