OPERATORS thinking of taking advantage of bus deregulation next year are being canvassed by the Central Manchester College and the Manpower Services Commission for a new series of open learning transport courses.
The home study courses (more detail on p15) include two packs on the Transport Bill, which have been prepared by Birmingham Polytechnic's pro-deregulation transport lecturer Dr John Hibbs.
There also are courses for the Certificate of Professional Competence, drivers' hours, and legal framework for psv operation.
