A further 11 Ampliroll units, which can push filled containers back on to the carrying frame while continuing into the tipping mode, are destined to join the 200strong Biffa fleet, contributing to a total order worth £.350,000. "
All functions are pneumatically controlled from the cab.
Four levers control the main hydraulic lifting rams — for on-and-off loading and tipping at weights up to 20 tons, the jib, rear stabiliser roller and new locking system, which clamps the container firmly to the chassis during transit.
Equipment is mounted on a mix of the Scania 82 and 92 eight-wheeled chassis.
