BRS MIDLANDS is to supply a Birmingham barbecue and garden furniture company with a dedicated distribution fleet.
It is providing Sitact with four 28 tonne gvw Leyland 16-23 Cruisers with six sliding-door boxvan trailers. Maintenance, insurance, fuelling and all the administration is also being undertaken by BPS.
Five drivers are also being provided under the contract. To cope with seasonal demand for the garden products, an additional 15 BRS Truck Rental vehicles with drivers will also be employed.
The fleet will operate from Sitact's 220,000sq ft warehouse and factory in Garretts Green Lane, and distribute the full range of products to Sitact's 2,000 customers.
