THE EVER-CHANGING scene at the National Freight Consortium brings a new director to the main board, to a subsidiary company, and a restructure of another NFCmanaged company.
Ted Wail, managing director of NFC International Holdings and president of its United States holding company, joined the main NEC board earlier this month. He is based in the United States, where NEC is planning to expand its business interests.
At subsidiary company level, Chris North has succeeded Jim Cornwell as National Carriers Contract Services director responsible for the company's distribution contract with Woolworths. Mr Cornwell has retired.
Mr North has been a sales executive with NCCS for three years.
And Ternpco Union, the NFC-managed temperature controlled storage and distribution company part-owned by the Vcstey Group, has created a distribution division headed by former Currys Group divisional manager Simon Bellinger.
Also at the new division, distribution director Brian Inman becomes commercial director, operations manager Brian Smith becomes North of England regional distribution manager, and Heathrow cold store general manager Len Hardcastle becomes South-East England regional distribution manager.
