A TYRE-CORD material made from
polyester fibre is being introduced in America in three sizes of tyres made by the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. It is planned to put similar tyres on the British market in the near future.
' Advantages claimed for tyres with polyester fibre cords include better high-speed performance, less internal heat and improved tread mileage.
