PALLETFORCE HAS opened its E30m national hub in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, enabling more than 150 trunks a night. The group says the 380,000ft2 hub, situated by the A38. could house 1,736 double-decker buses end to end. Full 24-hour operation kicked off on 22 January. Palletforce's chief executive officer Michael Conroy adds: "This is an important milestone in our history."
