I WRITE to congratulate you on the impact your magazine has on those who care within the commercial vehicle field.

A chance remark of mine to Technical Editor Bill Brock abc the DAF stand at the NEC evoi a telephone call from Mr Ivesi DAF on the morning the article appeared. If this is a typical DAF response, then thi look like they are here to stay.

How would you rate SA's chances of survival? We've KE no comment one way or anotl from them to your article. The Dublin agent has gone withoi. cornment; they did not event us they were closing down; ai requests to SA in the UK for si basic items as spring bushes and pins produce the comma "N/A" with no comment as tc when they will be available.

I can assure you that as a buyer of British trucks in the past I now bitterly regret my decision.
