WARD MOTORS of Huddersfield is to introduce air suspension as an option on its Dalesman coach chassis range.
The Dalesman is now available with either Perkins TV8.640 or Gardner 6HLXCT turbocharged mid-mounted engines in 11 or 12 metre lengths.
Five chassis are currently being bodied by Plaxtons with Paramount 3200 bodies and five by Van Hool with high floor Alizee bodywork. A rear-engined bus version is also being built for Darlington Borough Council and six are to be bodied this year by Wadham Stringer.
