Mr. M Dodge said that a check hae shown an average of only 1.15 passen• gers on each inward journey, and a normal maximum of five, with eight passengers on one occasion, on the outward journey.

The Authority reserved his decision until the company and the council agreed to the continuation of a service of some kind throughout the year.
