At the first trial the nine facing charges of conspiracy to import 8.5 tonnes of cannabis resin are: Robert Kean, 48, of Reepham Road, Norwich; Michael Adams, 59, of Darndale Close, Walthamstow; John Newley, 28, of Walthamstow High Street; Colin Reader, 47, of North Cray Rd, Sidcup; George Copley, 45, of Beckway St, London SE27; Steven Tucker, 48, of St John's Grove, London N19; Michael Cormac-Walsh, 41, of Walpole Gardens, Norwich; Alan Saunders, 46, of Barrett Rd, Norwich; and Gaffiel Abdullah, 35, of Stacey Rd, Norwich.

Kean, Adams and Newley will go on to face charges of importing 390kg of cannabis resin.
