• Lex Transfieet is now offering double-deck semi-trailers built by Wilson of Craigavon, Northern Ireland, on short-term hire.
The air-suspended triaxle trailers are all 13.6m long and 4.2m high and equipped with tail lifts.
Loadspace is put at 105cu m and payload is between 20 and 21 tonnes (depending on the tractor unit). The fixed middle deck has aluminium flooring, and both deck have maximum clearance of 1905mm.
Through a partnership with City Link and including the rental units, Lex Transfleet runs over 50 double-deckers.
