Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THREE new rules have been added to its Powerlock range by Stanley Works (GB) Ltd. There are seven +in. wide rules in the existing range, but the new rules have blades which make them more rigid. They are the 10ft P310, the 12ft P312, and the P310ME, a 10ft /3 metre rule.

The rules have features common to the rest of the Powerlock series. A thumb catch locks the blade in any selected position and the blade itself is marked in bold black fig-. ures on a yellow background for maximum legibility. To ensure a longer life, the blade is wrapped and sealed in a polyester film which is not affected by most solvents, alkalis and acids. The chromium-plated case has a 2in. base to facilitate inside measuring and a "true-zero" hook on the end of the blade ensures that measuring starts precisely at zero.

Made by: Stanley Works (GB) Ltd., Woodside, Sheffield 3.

Prices: P310, 19s 9d; P312, £1 is 9d; P310ME, 19s 9d.
