Having some responsibility for Regional planning policy in the North of England, 1967 has seen tremendous progress in the developments and improvement of major road communications into and within the Region. These roads are the arteries through which prosperity will flow.
My hope for 1968 is to see more of Barbara's "Castles" on the ground,
