DAF, ISUZU TRUCK UK, Mercedes-Benz, Gulliver's Truck Hire and Fiat Professional have all confirmed the fleet of vehicles they will have available for testing at Commercial Motor Live. The event takes place at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedford, and visitors will have the opportunity to ride and drive the latest vehicles on the facility's test tracks.
Daf will have four new XF tractors, all 4x2 at 40 tonnes, with a mix of power ratings and cab types. Mercedes will have 10 Euro-6 trucks, representing its complete line-up, available for testing. For on-track testing, there will be a trio of Atego rigids, a pair of Antos units, a pair of new Actros tractors and a Fuso Canter hybrid. In the Tipper Zone, Mercedes will also have
two Arocs tippers for trial on Millbrook's offroad course and Gulliver's Truck Hire will also have an Actros available for test.
Isuzu Truck (UK) will offer operators the best of both worlds, lining up a pair of Euro-5 and a pair of Euro-6 Forward rigids, while Fiat Professional will provide four vans for the ride and drives.
Volvo confirmed its all Euro-6 ride and drive fleet in CM 1 August.
Commercial Motor Live takes place on 2-3 October.
