Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The National Stolen Lorry Load Desk (AULD), shortly to be taken over by the Metropolitan Police at New Scotland Yard, is to be sponsored by Thacker, which produces stolen vehicle recovery systems. The company is also to support the NSLLO's first HGV security trade show, to be held on 19 November at the Met Police Sports & Social Club in Bushey, North Watford. Organised by security consultants PLC with the NSLLD, the event will focus on crime reduction with a wide range of deterrent and theft recovery systems on show.

The NSLLD, which recorded a 50% rise in the value of goods stolen last year compared with 2001, is a nationwide policerindustry partnership designed to engender co-operation and intelligence sharing.

A spokeswoman for Tracker says: "No other initiative has such a range and depth of knowledge, both of the problem and how to solve it. It's great that Tracker can lend support to such a worthwhile cause".
