J&L Transport is demanding more than £2,600 from Sally aft. the ferry operator's insurers, UK P&I Club, told the Do.. aster-based company that it did not have a valid claim. 1 wrangle follows an incident in May when one of J&L's tra Ts was damaged while disembarking at Dunkirk. The ferry door was unsecured and had begun to close, narrowly missing the cab. UK P&I Club has told the four-truck operator that the damage was not inflicted wilfully and so Sally is not liable. Sally says it cannot comment as the matter is in the hands of its insurers.
