• Michael Howard, trading as Howard Transport of Scarborough, his wife Jayne and five employees were alleged to have been involved in conspiracy, the falsification and forgery of tachograph charts, defrauding the Inland Revenue, and attempting to pervert the course of justice between January 1988 and February 1989, when they appeared at York Crown Court.
A full hearing date for the case has to be set.
